Thank you

A huge thank you from Diane and I for the end of year gifts. We were overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity.

Also, thank you for your endless support this year. You have been a great bunch of parents to work with and I really hope to see you around school next year.

Have a great summer

Katy and Diane

Our last is Toy Day

Tomorrow please bring a toy to school to play with and share with your friends. Try to bring something that will keep you entertained all day.

Reminder – do not bring anything that you will be sad about if it gets lost or broken.

Sports day notices

Hi all,

As you know it is Sports Day tomorrow. Here are some messages from the EYs team.
  • Children should come to school in their PE kit but with a coloured Rosendale T-Shirt not the white PE top. It makes it easier for us to spot what team they are in.
  • We will be at the field at 10am ready to start races then. We will move round
  • At 11.45 when the races end, we will hand your child over to you and sign them out. You are welcome to stay at the fields and eat lunch there. The children will receive a packed lunch but feel free to bring a picnic instead.
  • The children without parents there will return to school at 12pm and eat lunch back at school.
  • After school club is on as usual.
Many thanks

SPORTS DAY

Sports Day is taking place on Friday at the Rosendale Road Playing Fields.

Please note the timings:

·           The Early Years and KS1 races commence at 10am,

·           KS2 children will arrive at the field for a picnic lunch at 12 noon,

·           Staff / Parent races at 12.30pm,

·           KS2 races commence at 1pm.

Early years and KS1 children should come into school dressed in their PE kit.

KS2 children can come in their PE kit but there will be a chance for them to get changed.

The forecast is for this very warm weather to continue, so please make sure your child brings a sunhat, sunscreen and plenty of water. Rosendale water bottles can be purchased from the school office for £1.60.

The school will provide a packed lunch to all those who have a school dinner, and to those who receive free school meals. Children who normally have a packed lunch will need to bring their own packed lunch. We really hope that parents and carers will join us for the picnic.

Early Years and KS1 parents are most welcome to take your children home after their races, or picnic lunch, however before you leave you must sign your child out with your child’s class teacher.
